Our two boys had such a fantastic time attending the Mini-Engineers class. They absolutely loved the idea of designing their own car and participating with their models in a race competition! The kids were very much involved and the teachers were ready to help out if anyone needed extra help. Once we came back home the boys wanted to make car models again and have another race! Absolutely wonderful class!
LEGO brick building activities in London for mini-engineers ages 5 to 99 years.
Our mobile iLab inspires our builders to use their imagination and passion for building to learn and to explore the world around them.
Welcome to Mini-Engineers!
Mini-Engineers is a mobile Innovation and Inspiration Lab (“iLab”) offering a variety of LEGO brick building activities in London. At our iLab, children and adults can design, build and express their creativity through hands on learning in a fun and inspiring environment.
Every activity will incorporate problem solving skills, creativity, team working ability and the understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (“STEM”) concepts.
Furthermore, there is no upper age limit to being a mini-engineer as we love getting the creative juices flowing in both children and adults. Inspiration is at the heart of everything we do and we are passionate about turning the imagination into reality!

The 4 C’s
Mini-Engineers’ LEGO brick building activities in London have been designed with LEGO Education’s 4C principles in mind:
Connect
1) Set the scene for builders to relate to theme and awaken their curiosity.
Construct
2) Build a model following a design brief.
Contemplate
3) Observe and investigate model, then reflect on how to make it more efficient and better suited for desired goal.
Continue
4) Implement observations and predictions into model and allow builders to enter a state of flow – an optimal state of intrinsic motivation.
We ♥ building with LEGO bricks, thinking out of the box and seeing where our creativity takes us. Help us with our mission to inspire a new generation of engineers!

We enjoyed an excellent workshop making moving mini-beasts, which was a wonderful end to our science topic on mini-beasts and our technology work on Moving Monsters. Many skills were subtly challenged and developed: team-work and cooperation, instruction following, interpreting 2D and 3D diagrams and spatial awareness. There was a great sense of achievement at the end and most importantly, much fun was had by all.

Thank you so much for providing my three children with what they call ‘the best week ever’! Already avid Lego designers and builders, their week at the Mini-Engineers camp sparked a new level of enthusiasm for building. They came home each day wanting to build upon what they had done at the camp. Your approach to teamwork and cooperation through building instilled in all three of my children a great sense of pride and accomplishment, and they are already looking forward to the next Mini-Engineers event!
