Lead Instructor

We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible, creative and inspiring Instructors to lead our classes, camps, workshops and children’s birthday parties.  Tasks will include activity set up, leading LEGO activities, guiding children with their builds, sorting LEGO elements and kits, answering parents’ questions and most importantly, being an inspiration to the children.

Requirements

  • Experience working with nursery/primary aged children
  • Strong interest in hands on and creative learning
  • Passion for building and playing with LEGO
  • Inquisitive, fun loving person who has strong rapport with children
  • Strong work ethic: reliable, dependable, prompt and well organised
  • A curious, problem solver who loves studying how things work
  • Commands a basic understanding of engineering and science principles and can explain concepts in a clear and easy to follow fashion
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable with leading a group of children with adults on occasions
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Able to lift 15kg of equipment
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK

Hours

  • Part time (10 – 20 hours per week)
  • Candidates need to be flexible in terms of working hours.
  • Weekend work and some after school hours required.

Reference and Training

  • DBS checks and ongoing updates will be conducted on all successful candidates.
  • Training and development will be provided.

Salary

  • Dependent on qualifications and experience.

Assistant Instructor

We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible, creative and inspiring Assistants to help our Instructors lead our classes, camps, workshops and birthday parties.   Tasks will include set up, guiding children with their builds, taking directions from Instructors, sorting LEGO elements and kits, and most importantly, being an inspiration to the children.

Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Has experience working with nursery / primary aged children
  • Has a passion for building and playing with LEGO
  • Inquisitive, fun loving person who has strong rapport with children
  • Strong work ethic: reliable, dependable, prompt and well-organised
  • A curious, problem solver who loves studying how things work
  • Has a strong interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) subjects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to lift 15kg to 25kg of equipment
  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK driving licence preferred

Hours

  • Candidates need to be flexible in terms of working hours.
